Brief About Us
Arptech is a
privately owned Rapid Prototyping company based in Melbourne, Australia. We are building prototypes
across multiple industries for more than 10 years, using state of the art Rapid Prototyping
technologies.
We value Our Clients
Our quality of work
and customer service is second to none. That's why our business is built on repeat customers and
majority of our customers are derived from word of mouth referrals. We deliver what we promise.
What's Rapid Prototyping
Rapid Prototyping is a
process to build physical parts directly from Computer Aided Design (CAD) data. This process is based
on additive manufacturing technique, means 3d object is created by bonding thin slices of material
layer by layer.
What's 3D Printing
3d printing is a
generic term primarily used for additive manufacturing, where an object is created layer by layer.
There are number of 3DP technologies borrowed from large RP systems, major difference is material
choice, build speed and accuracy of parts.
CNC Machining
CNC stands for Computer Numerical Control, refers to a computer
"controller" that drives a machine tool. CNC Machining is one of our most widely used service,
suitable for functional, smooth and accurate parts directly machined out of engineering plastics or
metals. Please check our CNC dedicated website for extensive information.
FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling)
FDM also known as Fused Deposition Modeling is layered additive
manufacturing system. FDM offers functional and durable prototypes in real engineering
thermoplastics. Our 3D printers are based on FDM technology and use ABS Plastic. The FDM technology
is commonly applied to form, fit, function analysis and concept visualisation.
SLA (Stereolithography)
SLA also known as Stereolithography, provides accurate parts with an
excellent surface finish. SLA Process works by curing liquid photopolymers into solid cross-sections,
layer by layer, using an ultraviolet laser. SLA is widely used for conceptual models, master patterns
for silicon tooling, product visualisation and verification.
VC (Vacuum Casting)
Vacuum Casting, also refers to RTV molding is an excellent choice
where production-like parts are needed. Typically used for making 15 to few hundred functional
prototypes out of broad range of polyurethane resins with various physical properties. Also an
excellent choice for Rubber like flexible prototypes.
We deliver what we promise, it's our commitment to you.
