SLS system provides a wide variety of material choices enable you to create functional prototypes, direct tooling, and patterns - even final parts. Being able to use polymers, glass-filled nylon, metal and composites give a lot of flexibility to quickly produce one or many components without the typical delays associated with traditional manufacturing methods. Following is SLS material listing suitable for different applications.

:: SLS DuraForm PA (Polyamide) and GF (Glass-filled) Nylon ::
Material Class Thermoplastic
Use This material for

•DuraForm PA material is ideal for parts with superior surface quality, fine details and functional features such as living hinges and snap fit connections. Plus DuraForm PA material can be used for modeling and testing surgical devices and can be sterilized with an autoclave.
•DuraForm GF material's increased stiffness, heat resistance and mechanical integrity make it perfect material for extreme testing conditions, e.g. DuraForm connector with snap fits, hinges and locking cams recently withstood temperature up to 100°C and an electrical charge of 460 Amps.

Benefits Durable parts without tooling
Heat and chemical resistant, Machinable, weldable and has excellent surface quality
High feature definition and detail, High durability and stability

:: SLS - LaserForm ST-100 ::
Material Class Stainless Steel
Use This material for

•Durable metal parts and mold inserts - directly from CAD files, without casting or machining.
•Durable metal mold inserts, similar to P20 steel, can produce 100,000 plastic parts depending on the molding material.
•ST-100 material parts meet or exceed the resolution and tolerance of metal parts made via investment casting.

Benefits Characteristics similar to P20, can easily finish and polish with conventional methods.
Durability and High thermal conductivity
Heat resistance

:: SLS - CastForm PS ::
Material Class Thermoplastic
Use This material for

•Produce complex investment casting patterns - directly from CAD files, without tooling
•CastForm PS materials are low density (45% dense) and compatible with autoclaves, low-temperature furnaces, vacuum plaster casting methods.
•CastForm material's low ash content (<0.02%) makes it ideal for patterns for casting reactive metals such as titanium, aluminum, magnesium and zinc.

Benefits Direct from CAD file to pattern - no tooling or machining required.
Quick and easy pattern removal, low density and ash contents.
Compatible with standard foundry practices
